Fall Socialist School: Session 1

Develop your socialist education collectively in an inclusive and down-to-earth space with fellow East Bay DSA members! This is the first of four planned sessions that the chapter is organizing for all interested members.

The first session is intended to ground members in fundamental concepts such as class, class struggle, exploitation, dispossession, and the state. Required readings will be short but stimulating. We'll also include longer optional readings, including some classics, for members who want to take a deeper dive.

This series is open to all East Bay DSA members, but we especially encourage comrades who self-identify as other than white cis/het male to take part. We also ask that members be willing to commit to attending a minimum of three of the four classes.

If you are interested in signing up, please fill out this short survey. You only need to fill it out once, not per session.

See the readings for this session.
