Yesterday's Man: The Case against Joe Biden

February 17, 2020

Join East Bay DSA and Jacobin magazine for a discussion on how the Democratic establishment triangulated themselves into defeat.

Featuring Branko Marcetic and Meagan Day.

As Super Tuesday looms, join us for a timely discussion on the forgotten history of Joe Biden, one of the United States’ longest-serving politicians, and one of its least scrutinized.

Over nearly fifty years in politics, the man called “Middle-Class Joe” served as a key architect of the Democratic Party’s rightward turn, ushering in the end of the liberal New Deal order and assisting the political takeover of the radical right.

The new Jacobin book, "Yesterday's Man: The Case Against Joe Biden," by Branko Marcetic, will be available for purchase.
