September 26, 2020

Sign up for a big old canvass to get the word out about Moms 4 Housing co-founder Carroll Fife for City council D3 with the official campaign. RSVP using this form:

The stakes of this election are extraordinary at the federal, state and local level. With less than two weeks until Oakland starts voting on October 5, it is critical that we reach as many voters as possible now!

Carroll Fife is running on a platform to:

✔️ Divesting from police and investing in care.
✔️ Housing as a Human Right
✔️ Supporting Essential Workers and a people's COVID response
✔️ Taxing the Rich to fund public services.

Bring your DSA shirt and friends, family, or coworkers—no experience necessary!

Carroll is a freedom fighter, Executive Director of ACCE, and member of East Bay DSA. She helped found Moms for Housing, a collective of houseless and underhoused mothers in West Oakland. They received national attention for their efforts to “[unite] mothers, neighbors and friends to reclaim housing for the Oakland community from the big banks and real estate speculators.”

If you are new to canvassing we will train you and pair you off with more experienced canvassers. PPE (N95s, gloves, sanitizer) and water will be provided. Please also bring a fully-charged phone with PDI Mobile Connect (the canvassing app we will be using) downloaded and account created, links below:
