🌹 Socialist Night School: Inflation, Workers, and Wages

Inflation, layoffs, and unemployment.  These three specters have haunted the working class since the dawn of capitalism.

But who benefits from inflation? And is there really a stable inverse relationship between inflation on the one hand and wages or the employment level on the other?

Join us as we discuss whether it really was workers’ jobs that caused the spike in inflation and how our current economic trends may impact our approaches to labor organizing.

We’ll wrap up our discussions by talking about our chapter’s OEA solidarity campaign, making it easy for you to stand up and fight back right here in the Bay Area.

All political education experience levels are welcome, especially those new to socialism! The below readings are recommended but not required to participate.
