Four years ago, Oakland teachers' historic 2019 strike won major victories that helped us see our power. Now, teachers are bargaining a new contract to build on those wins. But the school district's bargaining team is not taking our demands seriously. It's time they hear our voices!
Join educators at the Lake Merritt Amphitheater on Wednesday, March 15 from 2 pm-6 pm as they boycott their professional development day and demand that the school district bargain in good faith!
It's best if you can arrive at the start of the rally (2 pm) because teachers will be heading over straight from teaching, and they'll need our energy and support!
