šŸŒ¹Socialist Night School: Lenin's Imperialism

October 3, 2023

Published in 1917 and more relevant to our times than ever before, Leninā€™s Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism argues that the financial oligarchy exports and invests capital in countries with undeveloped economies in order to better exploit labor and natural resources. This exportation of finance capital sustains colonialism and lays the foundation for imperialism across our globe.

How does capitalismā€™s exploitation of both its own workers and workers abroad lead to the decay of capitalism? Why is this form of parasitism especially harmful to the workers of the world? And, Lenin concludes that the struggle between imperialism and decolonization is the most important conflict for the future of humanity, but do you agree?

Join us to discuss all this, and more!
