 don’t technically have bosses\, so why does working at a co-op still som
 etimes feel disempowering and frustrating? Why do we find ourselves workin
 g long hours\, straining our bodies and all for wages that don’t cut it?
  <strong>This workshop</strong><strong> is designed especially for members
  of worker-owned co-ops as an introduction to Marxist and Racial Capitalis
 t concepts</strong> to use as tools for analyzing our workplaces. Expect t
 o learn some Marxist political economy vocabulary\, and explore concrete e
 xamples of how worker-co-ops and top-down capitalist businesses differ. We
 ’ll also use Racial Capitalism concepts to take a critical look at our o
 wn worker-owned cooperatives. We hope to reveal not just what doesn’t wo
 rk at co-ops under capitalism\, but how we have a leg up on changing our c
 onditions for the better.</p><p>This workshop will be led by Finn Finneran
 \, worker-owner of Rainbow Grocery Cooperative and member of the Union+Co-
 op Workgroup. </p><p>Please note: Although this workshop is welcome to the
  public\, it is designed with an audience of worker-owners in mind. We wil
 l discuss a few introductory concepts of Marxism and Racial Capitalism\, b
 ut we will NOT be giving an introduction to worker-owned co-ops or their s
