are coordinating with dozens of events on the West Coast and around the w
orld. We'll bring banners\, leaflets\, snacks and songs\; just bring some
good energy to share on this day of Global Solidarity with the people of G
aza.
The Palestinian-led BDS movement calls for a global d
ay of action on November 22\, targeting Chevron\n for its role in
Israel’s genocide and apartheid\, in addition to its \nrole in climate
destruction globally. Through its gas fields and \npipeline\, Chev
ron supplies Israel with 70% of its energy\n needs according to C
hevron’s own website - and hundreds of millions of \ndollars in tax reve
nue annually. Chevron entered the Israeli market in \n2020\, and it can ju
st as easily exit.
Israel would not be able to maintain its genocide \, \napartheid\, and military occupation without the support of internatio nal \ncorporations like Chevron. Every time Chevron loses out on profit or \nsustains reputational damage due to its complicity\, it builds pressure \non the company to end its business in Israel. Every car that \n doesn’t fill gas at a Chevron station due to a picket or sit in is a \ng rain of sand disrupting the gears of Israel’s genocide.
When\n you join the global boycott campaign against Chevron\, you are a
cting in\n solidarity with Indigenous people all over the world who have b
een \nprotesting the company for decades. This November\, during Native \n
American Heritage Month\, help us honor that history by taking up the \nst
ruggle and make Chevron pay for every Indigenous life taken\, from \nEcuad
or to Nigeria to Palestine!
